Our History
The journey of SMH Logistics began in the early 1980s when our founder recognized a gap in the market for a logistics service provider that could offer personalized attention and customized solutions. Starting with a single warehouse and a handful of dedicated staff, we have expanded our capabilities significantly, embracing technology and innovation to meet the evolving needs of our clients. Meet Our Leadership Team
Our leadership team is composed of seasoned professionals with deep roots in the logistics and supply chain industry. They bring a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to service excellence that drives our company forward.
CEO
Sung Moon is a globally experienced executive with 30 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly and supply chain currently serving as Chief Executive Officer for SMH Logistics since 2021. In his role he has championed stabilization and growth through implementation of sound fundamentals and technology. He has previously served in multiple executive roles to drive profitable growth strategies such as the award of $350 million annual contract.
Passion for operations, passion for people and passion to deliver solutions. It started with a career in industrial engineering to VP of finance and to his current role at SMH Logistics. During his career, he has had the opportunity to provide leadership in finance, accounting, manufacturing, assembly, purchasing, sales, cost estimation, project management, and supply chain. Sung continues to champion a customer centric focus while building teams that can deliver exceptional results.
Matthew Jasper
Senior Logistics Analyst
Matthew serves as Senior Logistics Analyst at SMH Logistics, where he leads the logistics analyst team and develops the people, processes, and tools that support efficient logistics operations. His focus is on creating scalable systems that help deliver consistent service and operational excellence.
Matthew earned his degree in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University and has built an extensive career in the industry. His experience includes roles with Elkay Manufacturing, Meritor, and General Motors, where he developed expertise across multiple areas of supply chain and logistics management. He is proud to bring that experience to SMH Logistics and its customers.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys spending time with his family and working on self-hosted IT projects at home. He also enjoys following the latest technology trends and is a dedicated supporter of Detroit sports teams.
Cameron Andress
Logistics Analyst
Cameron is a Logistics Analyst at SMH Logistics, where he manages key accounts including Samsung and AMS. He oversees inventory, shipping and receiving, and supports daily operations while ensuring strong customer service for major clients.
Before joining SMH, Cameron spent over six years at Papa Joe’s Gourmet Market, where he managed inventory, improved workflows, trained staff, and supported IT needs. He has been with SMH Logistics for three years, contributing to efficient and reliable operations.
Cameron holds an associate’s degree in software engineering and plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree focused on AI. Outside of work, he enjoys astronomy, cooking, traveling, hiking, programming, and building computers.
Bobby Bhugra
Operations Supervisor
Bobby is an Operations Supervisor at SMH Logistics, where he oversees warehouse operations and ensures customers receive reliable, high-quality service. He supports all aspects of the logistics process, helping maintain efficiency across daily operations.
With 24 years of experience in supply chain management, Bobby brings extensive knowledge in purchasing, production and material planning, inventory management, and logistics. His broad background allows him to approach operations with a practical, solutions-focused mindset.
Outside of work, Bobby enjoys traveling with family and friends, as well as playing golf and basketball.
